Who are we
We are the Charity Commission. We register and regulate charities in England and Wales and maintain the charity register. With over 168,000 charities registered across England and Wales we are here to ensure the sector thrives, and with almost one million trustees in England and Wales we offer support and guidance to help them succeed in their roles.
Research shows that many trustees could benefit from refreshing their knowledge, while we also know that trustees are busy volunteers with little time to spend training or brushing up on their role and responsibilities.
